The Finance sector raised the most venture capital this period with 26%. A total of 2 Finance companies raised $92.5 million in venture financings. The largest financing in the Finance sector was by optionsXpress, Inc.
Companies raising their Series B round (second financing) of funding represented 54% of the total venture capital deployed this period.
